Merry Christmas R

I have my Niece's CHRISTmas gift all finished and wrapped up. Here is what the first photo shows you...
Tall can is recycled drink mix container and holds 4 colors of playdough and cutters.
Jug is recycled Container and holds Shower Gel.
Bottle was purchased at Michales and has hand and body lotion.
Small bottle is recycled hand sanitizer bottle that holds body glitter gel.
Two bars of handmade soap.
Tow pots of lip gloss Chocolate and peppermint.
Christmas Tree Ornament.

I have to tell you our reasons behind making gifts this year. We wanted to teach our Children the Christmas is not about getting it is in the spirit of Giving. And the main reason we celebrate Christmas is the Birth of Jesus. With the economy the way it is and my craft room piled high with products (that one is for you Dad, my Dad was shocked at all I had when he came to visit before heading south) it was decided a group effort of time and love was going to create the gifts this year. It has been a great ride working with all three of our kids making projects and teaching them the basics. My DH just scratches his head and wonders when he will have the kitchen back to normal.
Now I need to finish up gifts for the boys. I have the playdough made, do you have anymore suggestions for me. (They range in age from 3 to 8.)

Put CHRIST back into CHRISTmas in 2008
Luke 6:38
"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Merry Christmas!

Amazing Sara...just amazing!
For the boys could you make little sketch books with your bind-it machine? Or memory games with family photos? Just a few thoughts.
I just think it's great that you've handmade your Christmas!

Sara, this is GREAT! I have to say you have inspired me to do more handmade stuff this year, though by no means all. Some suggestions: there was some neat stuff in the halloween PTI release, slime, face paint and the like. Sounds pretty easy to make.

Sara, thanks to you, our friends and family are getting some neat gifts that we COULD afford. I had a ball making things for folks this year. Thank you for your inspiration. We are going to our daughters tomorrow and then to our son's wedding after Christmas so don't know how much I will be online. Just want to wish you a Very Merry CHRISTmas. Will be in touch when we get home.
