We were explaining to Grandpa and Grandma on Saturday how we cooked up a pork loin here is how it was done...
Bavarian Pot Roast

3 to 4 lbs pot roast (we like it with Pork loin or Pork roast, we did not like it with the beef)
1T veg oil
1t salt
1/2t ground ginger
1/8t black pepper
3 whole cloves (I have powder and just use a small amount, don't know the exact)
4 med apples cored and quartered
2 to 3 med onions quartered
1/2 cup apple cider or juice (or water) we like it with apple cider
Rub roast with oil and spices, place in crock pot with the cider. Place apples and onions on the roast and slow cook all day.

The girls and I love it, DH finds it a bit on the sweet side if you don't want it as sweet use water in place of the apple cider or apple juice. Let us know if you give it a try it is a great winter hearty meal.

I am taking our oldest DD back to the specialist this AM for her Knee, I will let you know how things turn out in Tuesday's post.

Happy Stamp Day!

Pretty card. I saved your recipe--it sounds wonderful and will be on my menu this week for sure as I have a pork roast in the freezer. Let me know how the apt. goes, ok?
