Birthday Girl SCS sketch #200

Here is this weeks SCS Sketch Challenge, if you are ever in need of inspiraton a good card sketch is a great start and now SCS has 200 of them in the forum...

Today our oldest DD turns 14, I have mixed feelings about this day. She has grown up so very fast and wants to act much older then she is, why can't they stay little for a wee bit longer? Anyhow she has been very frustrated with her MOTHER this week, it is my fault for everything, her knees...lack of bday party...can't get her driving permit...can't play sports...does not get a gift...and her list goes on into infinity. So just for the lack of showing her my personality in return, I made her a birthday girl card, hey at least I did not go as far as making a baby card LOL!!

I have to explain the lack of us giving her a birthday gift this year. Last year she so just had to have an MP3 player we gave in and purchased one for her guess what she has since lost it. So in trying to teach a lesson there will be no gift from us this year, this may sound out of sorts to some people but you have to understand that gift was a ton of money and it is just gone...Hopefully she will learn to be more responsible for her things from now on. (That is our goal.)
