A BOHO smackdown...

Wanda over at My Creative Corner offered up a challenge I could not refuse. She defined the BOHO style for us and then asked to create in this style. I was working on these Birthday Calendars for the benefit so one of them came out in the BOHO style just for the smackdown.

SU products used...
Berry Bliss DP
Close to Cocoa Card Stock
"One of a kind" stamp set
Purely Pomegranate Ink
3/4" Punch
Pink and brown GG Ribbon

Also used...
Giga scallop punch
pop dots
Bind it all
Crop a Dile
computer and printer

I printed off my pages, layered my front cover, distressed the edges with a scissors, put a center punch in the project with the Crop a Dile, then ran the pieces through the BIA. The fringe was made by cutting off the salvage edges of the GG ribbon and pulling the ribbon apart. (Reminds me of barbie doll hair complete with the highlights, LOL!)

So now I challenge you to make a birthday calendar, I have the template in WORKS only. If you wish to have it please email me with the words Birthday Calendar in the subject line.

Just want to remind you that you can bind this calendar with a hole punch and ribbon if you do not have a BIA or other style of punch. You can also complete your project then take it to a Kinkos and have it bound for a small fee.

For some reason I had bookmarked these calendar pages on my computer...now I know why! Thanks for the inspiration! I ran to my computer and printed off a set and made one with the ginger blossom paper and loved it so much I printed off 4 more sets to work on!

I want to email you to get the template for the birthday calendar, maybe I am just being dumb, but I can't find your email anywhere to email you, so if you get this, could you please email me the template! :)

Thanks, Megan
