For those that are new to the world of digital stamps I have a quick refresher for you.

How to use digi stamps with PSE10.
Open your donwnload stamp file.
This file comes as a jpg from Eureka Stamps that means it has a white background you will need to remove this background for my technique.
Click on the background eraser tool as shown below.
Click onto the white background you will see it be removed and the transparent layer appear.

I wanted to do something special with this image so I added a preloaded effect.
Color Target was my choice.
In your effects panel pick the Color Target Effect under the complex label and apply it to your digital stamp.
Now save your colored digital stamp as a png file to preserve the transparent background.

Below is my saved digital stamp in png form...

Below you can see that I have opened my save PNG digital stamp in my
Silhouette Cameo designer software.
Now I am ready to print and cut my bookmarks...

Here are two completed hybrid bookmarks.
The 3d star from Lori Whitlock is one of my fave cuts on the Silhouette;)

Eureka Stamps Blog Hop

You have arrived at my post for the
Or shall I say Blog Wobble?
After all, how many of us can hop after eating a Turkey Dinner;)
Below is my DT entree...

On the inside of my creation I printed off a smaller version of the front image
and attached it to a folded strip of paper weighted with a penny.
This causes the image to pop up and wobble when the
recipient opens the card;)
The sentiment placed on the inside image says,
 'til you wobble
I created that in PS.

The digital stamp ingredients being used today by the Eureka Stamps DT:

While you are visiting please leave a comment on this post
as there will be 2 random blogs chosen from our lineup as secret stops.
The 2 chosen secret blogs will then each pick a winner to receive the
featured images from the hop.
The Grand Prizewinner of our hop,
will be chosen from the comments left on the Eureka blog.
Your comment there
could fetch you 5
digital stamps of your choice from Eureka Stamps.
May you wobble on in this hop with Thanksgiving for further creative feasting!
Sarah V is your next stop, her
entree is sure to fill you with inspiration.
Here is the complete list in case you decide
to take a Tryptophan enhanced nap along the way...

Senior Portraits

My Daughter was so worried after we had to cancel her first photo shoot that she was not going to get the type of pics she wanted.
The wind blasted through here that first day gusting well over 60MPH removing most of the fall leaves from the quivering branches.  Along with that
there was rain and lots of cold.
Well, yesterday we tried it again with much success!
The day could not have been more beautiful.
The photos you see in my layout are out takes
and fun shots I took on my iPhone behind the photographer.
I LOVE what I captured and it makes such a wonderful page don't you think?

The kit used is
Daydream Believer

the layout is included in the kit

You can get this beautiful kit by following the blog hop at DHD.
Make sure you check there tomorrow for
National Digi Scrapbook Day and see all the other goods they have;)

PTI Blog Hop Old and New

From Nichole...

This month, in honor of the new year, we are challenging you to pick your

favorite project from 2011 and share it with all of us!  To take it a step

further, you are also challenged to create a second card that is inspired by
the favorite project you select.  Your new version of an old favorite could
carry over the color scheme, the layout or the stamp sets.  We look forward
to seeing your best creations from 2011 as well as one of your first projects
for 2012!

Here is my favorite project from 2011.  I loved it the most 'cause it was a fun way
to share a vintage creative find with the friends I love.
Buttons, ribbon and vintage cream cardstock are all from PTI.

Here is a new project for 2012...

I used the Wishing You set, stuck with the blues,
ovals and rick rack from the
2011 creation.
Everything PTI except the rick rack and Nestabilities

Happy Stamp Day.  God Bless.

Christian Paper Crafts "Back to school" Blog Hop

Oh YES, I was so inspired by Angela's project
I had to give it a go
Below you see the front of my memory game
Using "Faith is the substance" verse from PTI Everyday Blessings set
The finished project hangs on the fridge

After stamping the sentiment on "retired SU DP" I ran it through the xyron using the magnetic cartridge
The back of the magnet pops the colors for the game I loved that
Punched the shapes from the scraptacular basket and adhered them with quick dry glue from Scotch

So here is a pic of the tools I used
Yup, that is the old school Xyron
When a SB store went out of business I purchased cartridges for 75% off
 CRAFTY SCORE of the century

Xyron
Magnetic Cartridge
1 3/4" circle punch
Stamp and Memento ink
I used retired DP from SU and colors out of the scrap box
I went basic with this one and used 1 1/4" circle and square punches for the colors
Scotch quick dry glue

This was so simple and quick I see more in the future.
It would be awesome for you Sunday School teachers
make a new one each week with the memory verse that way they have a visible reminder to work and use the verse daily.  (Hence the magnetic cartridge)  By hanging it up in the kitchen it should garner lots of attention.

So hop on over to Christian paper crafts and join in on the "back to school" fun;)
Happy Stampin'.  God Bless!

Christian Paper Crafts Retro and Vintage Style Hop

Edit to place the redo Sunday 23 11:00 AM.  I took the vintage paper doily and moved it to the top with the sentiment.  Like this look much better;)

Oh have I been waiting for this to arrive.  I have been holding onto Cosmo Crickets Circa 1934 for a special vintage project.  I combined the dp with the video tutorial in the sidebar and WOW I love the results.

I used the leftover scraps from the wreath on the card front.  So love vintage typewriters, I am on the lookout for a delicious RED one.   For now Little J plays on this  pretending she is working for the news.

Products used...
Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934
Vintage Rick Rack
Vintage Paper Doily
Styrofoam wreath
Glue Gun
PTI True Black Satin Ribbon, vintage cream cardstock

Enjoy the Christian Paper Crafts blog hop.  God Bless.http://cpccreativeblog.com/?p=7780

Cupcake Pedestal Floral Frenzy

Floral Frenzy meets Beautiful Blooms.
**For cupcake pedestal directions please see previous post**
Exception being I used the P for PaperTrey for the cupcake stand.
I am going to go back and doll it up more I thought hanging flowers in the P cut out would be cute or beads?

May is the month when many flowers finally go into full bloom after a long winter's sleep.  For the blog
hop this month we want to see your favorite take on flowers.  You can stamp backgrounds, create
custom floral embellishments, showcase unique flower center additions (buttons, rhinestones, beads,
etc...), flowers die-cut from different materials (like fabric, felt, vellum, etc...) or anything else you can
dream up!  We are looking forward to seeing all of your amazing creations!

If you visit here often you know I can do flowers.  They are my most favorite crafty project to work on.  For today's challenge I broke out PTI's Beautiful Blooms DP and Floral Frenzy Stamp set.
All products used are PTI except Cricut Cindy Loo Cartridge and Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.  This is how I created the cupcake wrapper and pedestal.

Happy Stamp Day.  God Bless.

Christian Paper Crafts Blog Hop

Today is the day!

Here is my Blog Hop Project.  This was fun to make and there are a lot of tiny details hidden in this beauty.  Everything from Copics, embossing, number of cuts in different colors and stitching all aid  in the dimension I was looking for.
Then I found this DP in My Minds Eye Stella and Ruby Mabel Collection I had to use it.
I was thinking about ripping it apart and using the dp for the tree.
Obviously I let that idea pass for this card.
However, I do plan on making another using it.

Cut at 4"
One summer sunrise, cut out the bird
One Chartruse this is your piece to place your layers.
One in Kraft cut out the branches.
One in spring rain cut off the scallop edge.
One in spring rain on shadow for a base.

Spring Rain  base run through SU dots embossing plate, distress with Marina Mist Ink and highlight scallops with white gel pen.
Adhere green doily to blue blackout base with foam dots.
Use copics to shade the branch and place with Tombo Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.
Adhere shaded bird with dimensional foam dots.
Use a piece of scrap to create wing and black marker for the eye.
Distress the scallop spring rain with Marina Mist ink and draw on the stitch lines.
Place the scallop rings using dimensional foam dots.
Place the recollections flowers using glue dots.
Stamp your tag ad dp and sticker.
Place layers on card base, tie ribbon.
Place sentiment tag using a glue dot.
Place the doily cut using glue dots.
