Here is another way to use your scrapbooking goodies.
These are flowers from Recollections that I have used on today's project.
Adjustable ring and earring bezels are from the Jewelry Shoppe.
These do come with an adhesive circle on the back, you need to remove this before placing the E-6000.
Drying time is 24 hours before wearing but to assemble takes only mere seconds.
Below is a set I made using the blue flowers. I am happy with everything except for the bottom of the box. I will be going back and adhering the lining strip before the box is assembled. I so dislike the rounding in the corners it is driving me crazy!
To make the box select a size for this one I used 4 and 4 1/8" pieces scored on all sides at 1".
Cut in on your flaps and assemble your box. Line box with strip of patterned paper. (Do this before box assemble so you can achieve a crisp lines.)
For the top I used some vintage lace and leftover bits of flowers from other projects.
Oh Yes! I Did! Digging more in my scraptastic box and found an extra bloom made with Once Upon a Springtime DP Graphic 45. I liked it plain but wanted it to last longer so I ended up placing diamond glaze over the bloom and placing a button center.
Here is a set I made for little J.
The flowers are from Easter sale at Hobby Lobby 90% off from Dress Up Buttons.
( They did not have a shank on the back.)
You can use that type just remove the shank with a side cutting pliers leaving a flat surface to attach the bezel.
