Did you get the email? ODBD Our Daily Bread Designs is venturing out into the scrap world. So can't wait to see what they are breaking out with. For today I used the DT Scripture collection 2.
Micah 6:8 And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and walk humbly with your Lord.

I created this page to be the first page in my sp journey through 2011. Both of these sites offer products for your personal scrapbook journey in 2011 if you wish to play along...

Faith Sisters Sweet Sweet Song

Faith Sisters Sweet Sweet song challenge with free download, find out more at this link.

from Faith Sisters site...Can you think of a song that reminds you that you have a perfect Heavenly Father? Or a song that makes you think about your own children and how much you want to be the very best parent you can be for them? Maybe just a song that brings you the comfort and protection that only being embraced by Him can bring? I hope you will join us this month in creating a layout inspired by your favorite songs. Below are a few songs I thought fit this topic, but feel free to share any song that you feel drawn too.

Already Home- Thousand Foot Krutch
In My Arms- Plumb
Prodigal- Casting Crowns

To hear Come Home Running by Chris Tomlin take this link.

For my song I used Come Home Running by Chris Tomlin. Chris has been a long time fave of mine, he also sings Amazing Grace My chains are Gone. Some words to this song that remind me of the love and Grace of God are...
Oh child of God, so dearly loved...and called by name.
Isiah 43
43:1 But now thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine
.

God is forever loving we are fearfully and wonderfully made(Psalms 139:15), he has named us, counted the hairs on our heads (Luke 12:7). So Come Home Running his arms are open wide.

Faith Sisters Pear Tree and I also have a blog link button in my sidebar, go check it out it is a wonderful site packed of YUMMY digi treats and challenges.
Challenge info found here
Here is what they have to go along with the Pear Tree Digital kit to show how it goes along with CHRISTmas (this is taken from there site).

This week's challenge is hosted my Susan Godfrey, from Simply Susan Designs and features the first verse:

On the first day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
A partridge in a pear tree.

I know, I had a hard time figuring out how a partridge and a pear tree could represent anything scriptural, so I was surprised to learn that you really can tie them to Scripture.

THE PARTRIDGE: The partridge in a pear tree is Christ Jesus upon the Cross. In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge because she would feign injury to decoy a predator away from her nestlings. She was even willing to die for them.

THE PEAR TREE: The tree is the symbol of the fall of the human race through the sin of Adam and Eve. It is also the symbol of its redemption by Jesus Christ on the tree of the Cross.

MY TRUE LOVE: True Love refers to God
