Happy Birthday "Lil Bloomer" Rolled Paper Rose

I am so happy to have full time access once again to the net, being unplugged is not a fun thing at all! This week I am bringing you "Lil Bloomer" week, a week full of creative flowers. Today it is a Rolled Paper Rose.

A wonderful crafty friend of mine is celebrating a birthday Today, Happy Birthday Amy! You can find her blog here...The Stamping Tree.

How to make the "Lil bloomer" rolled paper rose...

Cut a 5" square from double sided DP or card stock (The side that you roll into the center will be the side that shows up most on your flower.)
Start cutting a 1/4" spiral using a shape scissors, stop cutting the spiral when you are down to a small circle. (This becomes the bottom of the flower that you will attach the rolled paper to.)
After your spiral is cut start rolling it on the start end, pinching the bottom a bit.
Work your way to the end circle.
Place the paper on top of the circle and let the rolling relax to make the center of the flower loose.
Place glue on the circle and adhere the bloom.
You can smash and distress, place buttons or bling in the flower center.

Product list...
Sei DP
Shape scissors
PTI card stock, stamp set and bling
Ribbon Vintage (unknown)
SU felt flower
embroidery thread

Have a Happy Stamp Day, God Bless!
