July PTI blog hop Blessings from Heaven
The PTI Blog Hop challenge this month was to use script in your creation. As you know I so can't put down my "Lil Bloomers" I use them on almost everything lately. For this project I wanted to Jazz up a space in the master bedroom. So along with some vinyl wall art cut on the Cricut and an altered dollar spot frame I now have a niche that I love!
Altered Dollar Spot Frame, directions found below...
Wall Niche...
More Script Goodies I have created...
Product list...
dollar spot Black Frame
PTI card stock, ink, ribbon and buttons
PTI Floral Frenzy Stamp Set
Vintage dried floral arrangement book
cricut expression
Cricut George Cartridge
Cricut Cursive 101
Cricut Design Studio
CM corner rounder
Black Vinyl
Modge Podge
Paint Brush
Sand Paper
Frame Directions...
Remove any embellishments from frame and sand lightly.
Rip Pieces of script (I used a vintage book).
Adhere pieces of script with Modge Podge and let dry.
Apply another coat of Modge Podge and let that dry.
Sand around all open edges of the frame lightly.
In lower left corner apply your buttons and flowers.
In the upper right corner apply your ribbon.
Stamp images onto a page of script.
Crumple up the script then ink the edges and some of the creases.
Mount the script onto card stock.
Assemble your frame.
I stamped my flower stem and leaves onto vintage cream then used a pop dot to apply a lil bloomer. (My main image is mounted to the outside of the frame).
Happy Stamp Day, enjoy the Hop!
