My mistake

I need to make a correction on a previous post
Wasabi Serenade this card was actually a CASE from the wonderful card made by Cllstamper not Quirky62. You can visit her galley on SCS by following this link
Cllstamper. And the original card can still be found in the Paper Trey Swap round 2 Album

Twelve Ornaments for Christmas Day 1...

Light Bulb Rudolph

I am really jazzed to bring you my 12 ornaments for Christmas series you will be amazed at the ease and simplicity of the projects I have planned. Many of them have been great sellers for me at previous craft fairs and always a hit when given as gifts. Some are also great projects to work on with your children and grandchildren and give instant results, that is a great goal to have when crafting with children they like to handle the end result and see what they have created.

List of supplies
Outdoor Replacement Bulbs (any color)
Google Eyes
4mm red pom poms
Chenille stems
ribbon
adhesive of choice (e6000, Crystal Effects, hot glue)

First thing you do is to take your stems and wind them around a pencil, one stem per ornament.
Wrap the stem once around the connection end of the bulb and twist in the back a few times to secure.
Take your ribbon and adhere it to the back of the chenille stem to create a hanger.
Make a bow out of the same ribbon and adhere it to the front of the replacement bulb.
Place on the google eyes and the pom pom with a small amount of adhesive.
Your ornament is finished now all you need to do is hang it on your tree or package as I have done to give as a small gift.

TLC145 Tile coasters...

I was excited to see the Technique Lovers Challenge yesterday on Splitcoaststampers was stamping on tile. I love to to these and I had some available from my trials of different ways to stamp them, different inks etc. I used the Snowflake Serenade set from Papertrey and Ultramarine Staz-on, I also put a thin layer of spray sealer over the top after it has set overnight. You can find the permanent links to the weekday challenges on Splitcoaststampers on the right hand side of my blog.
If you want to find previous pages on tile coasters please click on the tile link also located on the right hand side of my blog.
Have a great day!

Happy Holidays Baroque...

Here is a different version to the Baroque theme holiday cards I am working on. Is it not funny that I can finish a Christmas card order for a friend but have yet to finish my own.
This layout can be found on SCS, the only thing I would have done different is use very vanilla in place of the white, the white stands out more than I thought it would next to the Carmel.

Wasabi Serenade...

Edited on 12/5/07 to correct a CASE name error

I was inspired by a card in the Papertrey Swap round 2 made by Cllstamper.

So to make mine I used Tempting Turquoise and Wild Wasabi paper and ink from Stampin up and Snowflake Serenade from Paper Trey. This color combo looks fabulous IRL, I have now found a new color combo to use.

Have a happy stamp day!

Snowflake Serenade Hostess Gift...

This is a goodies package I had gotten in the mail on Friday from a secret nominator in the Hostess Appreciation Swap, I had no idea there even was such a thread happening over on SCS. One of my Swappers from the Papertrey Swaps, we are now in round 3 if you would like to swap with us please send me an email to paschal.sara@gmail.com Nominated me for Hostess. Yesterday this gift arrived in the mail and it contained Paper Trey Snowflake Serenade stamp set, handmade bracelet that contained images from Papeyrtre Believe shrunken on shrink plastic and made into a charm, some Believe stamped images and a beautiful handmade box for the bracelet. How kind and generous is this, I am amazed with the beauty of souls I have come in contact with through these swaps. It is supposed to be anonymous but I have figured out who sent it and have sent a digital thank you, I will not announce who it is here they are going to remain anonymous to others. So thank you again _______ I love your kindness you have showed and I also thank you for being in my swaps you make awesome cards.

This is a card I have made with the new stamp set it is a CASE from PTI's ink pad for Snowflake Serenade

Now I have one little rant to get off of my chest yesterday I was watching a commercial for Wal-mart and here is the slogan they ran at the end of it, "Save more so you can give more Christmas." I about fell out of my chair, so YOU can give more Christmas. Christmas was given to us when Jesus was born and at Christmas time we give to remember this event and bring joy to others. So frustrated with mass retail and the spend more, save more give more mentality. What is that teaching us, our children? So remember as you are making your Christmas cards, and your crafts the real reason behind your creativity the simple fact that Jesus is the reason for the season.
