Wonderfully BLESSED?!

This new line from Teresa Collins is WONDERFUL to play with.  I am the first one to tell you I am not a big fan on PaperTrey's Raspberry Fizz in fact not a pink girly girl by any stretch of your imagination.
Hmm, guess who has to order more cardstock in Raspberry Fizz?  Who?  Me?  Couldn't be!

I purchased Teresa Collins Posh collections at Scrapbook.com

This card was made for my challenge over Inspired Crafters you can find it here.
The challenge picks three major trends showing up Spring 2011 in the fashion industry.  I have a rant about the nautical stripes.  Every year there is nautical stripes so is it truly a trend?  Hmm?  I DON'T THINK SO!.

The Wonderfully FAB crochet flower was indeed made by yours truly;)
There is lace and stripes in the Teresa Collins DP.  So there you have it I fit all the trends or (non trends) into this creation.  Go Me!  Join us on the challenge show me what you've got!
{{Hugs and prayers go out to Banu,  thinking about you my friend.}}

Okay, so where am I pulling my title for this little bit?  Here we go...

My wonderfully faithful friend Jen told me... God blesses his chosen ones she says...
 I am one BLESSED SISTER!

Not by happenstance/circumstance/just chance... I sat down for the first time in a week to create.
Turned on Life 96.5 Turning Point was on.
(I listen once in a while not all the time, most nights when I am seeking peace or just a
PEACEFUL place to THINK and CREATE.)

No, I did not get much creating done but my pen learned how to fly!  Here is a sample for you...

We can be mad.  We can give up, lie down and quit living.
Or we can say, Lord
teach me; teach me things that I could never have learned any other way.
Not “why me?”, But Lord, I will not be the same person.
I will learn from this...
I can tell you that you will never see life the same again...changed everything.  The moon is brighter.  The sun is more brilliant.  The
golden waving wheat is more wonderful.

Helen Steiner Rice, “Bend in the Road”:  Sometimes we come to life’s crossroads and
we view what we think is the end.  But God has a much wider vision and he knows it’s
only a bend.  The road will go on and get smoother and after we’ve stopped for a rest,
the path that lies hidden beyond us is often the path that is best.  So rest and relax and
grow stronger.  Let go and let God share your load.  Have faith in a brighter tomorrow.
You’ve just come to a bend in the road.”

My Children are hurting.  Alive.  I am blessed.
Donna will soon be enjoying Montana.  I am Blessed.
(LOL, She will take this the wrong way!)
Jessica, went missing then was found.  I am Blessed.
I feel pain.  I am Blessed.
I struggle.  I am Blessed
I have a very long list of Blessings,
**I **AM** ONE** WONDERFULLY** BLESSED** SISTER!**

Just got the call from OI.  The Burst Compression fracture is not healing.  Appointment has been set for the 26th of March for Donna to see Dr. McKenzie.
Dr. McKenzie cares for my back concerns and has done surgery on my Aunt, we are thankful God has him working in our lives and are confident he will take us down the correct healing path.
Leads me to wonder why most the Tieszen's in the area were so called... Bone Setters?!
LOL!  They needed their own Dr. Supply.
ROTFLMAO (if my back would allow that is)!

Happy Stamp Day.  God Bless!  When you are Wonderfully Blessed be thankful;)

Staycation with Inspired Crafters

Ramada Sioux Falls SD AKA...Our other HOME, the PIRATE SHIP. Jessica loves this place. Okay, we all do. Before it changed to the Ramada it was the Holiday Inn. My Sister was working with banquets and when she needed help she would call me. Banquets okay. Working the Comedy club as a waitress not okay. Seriously, I was not enough of a consumer to do the proper job and I disliked it very much. It was fun in other ways that were not work related and way more fun today as the Ramada;)

Anywho, with the front moving in for the weekend we decided not to travel and just spent a couple days in Sioux Falls at OUR OTHER HOME.

This is the scrapbook sketch challenge over on Inspired Crafters. Click on it and come play along with us.

My take on the sketch. DH can't take a good photo to save his life he always has to be goofy when the camera comes out. Now he has taught the girls to do the same thing. ACK!! They do it just to make me squirm and I know it. I will be uploading the pics to facebook you can see the crazies up close. LOL!

Sorry the pics stink today. I am in "nerd" mode so Donna says. I have been tossing around a switch to Mac for a couple of months. I think I have finally decided to make the switch. I think? I might just keep Microsoft for Online Blog and creative work and transfer media files to the ipad and save some green in the process by not repurchasing or upgrading my major software and cameras. Photoshop alone would be killer.

Cricut Expression
Cricut Cindy Loo

"With the new year comes a clean slate along with many resolutions.
This month's blog hop challenge Involves you challenging yourself
to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that
might be collecting a little dust!

Go through your stash and see what little used treasure it might hold.
If you are in need of inspiration for your chosen set,
feel free to utilize the gallery posted in the side bar of
each set's sale page on our website,
or go to the Previous Countdown page on Nichole's blog where
each set is organized by month of release.
2011 is the year where what's old is new again!"

Seriously, I can't remember the last PTI Hop I posted to?? What a crazy life 2010 turned out to be. However, I am back and more CREATIVE then EVER so watch out;) Needless to say I had MANY dusty yet clean sets. I pull out last year's Anniversary set that has not even seen ink yet. Thought I better get on this before the next one arrives in a few months. Here is my project...

I just love these little gems of wood scrap I picked up. They look so very cute altered. I made a necklace that matches the recipient can remove that and they then have an altered piece of art.

Inspired SB Page Eleanor

This is my page for Chris' last post for April over at...
Inspired Crafters Blog Challenge 16...Chris Corner

I am still working on a Family Tree Album I used Chris' Layout for this week on my Aunt and Uncle Eleanor(Adrian)and Harold Anderson. I love the picture used here because that is totally how I remember Harold he was quite funny I loved his sense of humor (in this shot he is trying to cover his laughing). I think by the look on my Sisters face that out of range either my Sister or I were doing something we should not have been, go figure, LOL! My aunt Eleanor suffered long from Diabetes and spent the later half of her life visually impaired just like my Grandmother also pictured in the photo. They lived on a hog farm in Iowa came to SD for Reunions and special occasions I do remember visiting the farm once in the early 70's the smell was horrible but my Aunt let us play on her prized Organ 'til they could not possibly stand one more second.

Easter/Friends= Inspired

My wonderful friend Chris sent me the beautiful card you see below stuffed with some Amuse BW dp and a sketch for the week. I was so excited and happy to play along in fact, this is the only creative thing I have done in WEEKS! Feels great to be cutting up some photos and yummy paper;)
You can find Chris' challenge here at Inspired Crafters blog and see more from Chris on her blog here.

So here is my page totally inspired by the dp I used and Little J's Easter dress...

Okay, so you gotta love stuff that sits and sits but still works wonderfully when you need it. Case in point my photo printer...had to wipe the dust off before it could be used (I do need to hunt up the directions to see how to edit with it I have totally forgotten how to use all the functions) but it worked and I printed off the pic I wanted to use. You can also see another photo of little J that did not make it onto the page, she is so darn CUTE! Want the full run down of the Easter Story she can tell you, I should record her it is wonderful. I have started doing things different in my craft space took months for DH to arrange it for me and the girls to organize it but we are there and I will show pics soon for you. I have started sorting out matching stuff before I get crafty in this pic you see dp Grandmas Kitchen with matching card stock from Papertrey. I also put a basket together of matching accessories wow, this system sure works well for me!
