Using bling and embossing on creations is fun however, trying to photograph the creation becomes an issue.

So my apologies for the photo I enhanced it to pop the details.

Madison Deets...

1. She was considered not adoptable.
2. Was a stray found wondering the streets of Watertown SD
3. Adopted from the Watertown Area Humane Society
4. Had Fleas...ugh, that alone made me think twice!!!!
5. Had skin issues...turns out to be allergies, got rid of the fleas and used Vet recommended allergy shampoo and her fur is coming back in.  He issues have mostly resolved in this area.
6. Her back was injured from escaping under a fence...so they thought.
7. She was protective of the people who took care of her at the humane society and they considered her to be a tad aggressive.  
8. Her name arrived from the fact she was found wondering the streets and Mom is a fashionesta.  
9. She loves the girls.
10. She is loving and enjoys cuddling with Mom and sleeping on the bed.
11. Madison enjoys going for car rides.
12. She loves her big brother Bear, it is so fun to watch them play ring around Jessica's playhouse.
13. She cries at the door when Jesse leaves for work
14. As Jesse arrives home her legs turn into springs and she proceeds to jump up and down all over him  until he plays with her.
15. Madison sucks on her blue blanket for comfort, I find this sad yet cute.  She must miss her Mama and this is how she figured out to calm herself she pretty much goes into a trance doing this.
16. Madison is part Terrier and unknown breeds.  Mutty Maddie (just one of her nicknames). Blanket Sucker is another...I know, I know I crack myself up;)
17. She is very loving and was easy to spoil, she fits right in with our family.

PTI Blog Hop Old and New

This month, in honor of the new year, we are challenging you to pick your 

favorite project from 2011 and share it with all of us!  To take it a step 

further, you are also challenged to create a second card that is inspired by 

the favorite project you select.  Your new version of an old favorite could 

carry over the color scheme, the layout or the stamp sets.  We look forward 

to seeing your best creations from 2011 as well as one of your first projects 

for 2012!

Here is my favorite project from 2011.  I loved it the most 'cause it was a fun way 

to share a vintage creative find with the friends I love.

Buttons, ribbon and vintage cream cardstock are all from PTI.

Midweek Throwdown from OWH

Last week OWH posted a Midweek Throwdown challenge to use black and white with a pop of color.  This weekend as I was working on my box to send I found this creation to be my favorite.

All products are PTI except the U that was cut on the Cricut using Plantin Schoolbook.

Project Life 2012

This is one of the big projects on my list for this year

 baring anymore serious life events that pull 

me out of the creative game for months at a time.

All my pieces have finally arrived, that was an adventure in itself.  

Project Life came out being sold as a kit everything came you you in one box, one shipment.  

Now everything is being offered by the piece and some pieces are hard to find.  

Needless to say, I don't like the piece by piece ordering!!!!

Show Me Some Love

So sad, so very sad!

While doing my New Year's cleaning

I came upon this SAB 2005 SU set. 

 I had not even taken the time to assemble it!

It is not one of my favorites matter of fact I kinda hate it 

so that is probably why it was hiding.

I need to show it some inky love and make myself

 feel better that I used it.  

Yeah, that did not work there is to many new things coming out from CHA that I LOVE!!!!

This card took me forever to complete needless to say it is not a favorite

and I was so close to placing it into the 

Da Vinci files.

(Leonardo was famous for being a procrastinator and

he died with many unfinished creations.)

I need to get my card making mojo going running and there is no better way than a great sketch challenge!

I loved the sketch from OWH this week and I played along...

I did not like any type of design with an embellishment over the top so I just went with this.  

I need to go back and trim my chairs you would think I had little J cutting for me;)
