Prison Fudge
Every year when we were going to St. John's Lutheran Church in SF at Christmas time we made Fudge for the prison inmates at the SD penitentiary. The recipe had to be made according to certain directions and also had to be packaged precisely as laid out in the directions. I make it for our home and friends now it is a simple recipe and tastes so very YUMMY! This year I put in some peppermint chips (they melted very easily) and them placed about 1/4 of the bag on top of the fudge after pouring it in the pan.
4 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 lb. Butter
1-12 oz can of evaporated milk
1 TBL Vanilla
Bring to a boil, boil exactly 11 minutes stirring constantly. Take off heat and add...
2 Cups small marshmallows
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
1 & 1/2 bags of Chocolate Chips
Beat 'til smooth, Pour into a well-buttered 9 by 13 pan and cool at room temperature. Cut into 24 pcs.

1 John 1:8-9
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Have a Merry Christmas!
