Photo Coaster

THIS IS FAR FROM A PERFECT EXAMPLE BUT I CAN TELL YOU WHAT I HAVE LEARNED.

PRINT OUT YOUR PHOTO ADJUSTING THE PRINT LIGHTER THEN IT SHOWS ON THE ORIGINAL
TRIM DOWN TO THE EDGE OF PHOTO
TAKE TIME TO SMOOTH ON THE TISSUE

This is going to be a great accent for our new half kitchen. (I say half kitchen because only one wall was finished and two were painted, along with the celling.) I still have two kitchens, it really stinks the sink and cupboards are in one room while the stove, fridge, buffet and table are in another. This house is really messed up but my DH and a family friend have done some great work to it and will be a nice place someday.

For now I will tell you how to make this photo coaster.

1) Print your black and white photo on tissue paper
(tape your tissue to a piece of card stock before you run it through your printer. Do this by wrapping it around the card stock and Scotch tape it to the back, covering all edges so it won't catch in the printer)

2) Trim to size

3) Place thin coat of Mod podge on the tile

4) Carefully place on your printed tissue paper, and smooth out

5) Cover with a layer of mod podge and let dry
