Cuddle Season

There is a color challenge by Christin Thomas going on over at STS.

There are quite a number of free kits to download in this challenge forum, 

you should take the link above and have a look.

I played along and created this Cuddly, Cozy kit.

The colors reminded me of snuggling under warm blankets in the dead of winter and I used 

fabric inspired designs for the papers and the frame.

A Little Bubbly

Welcome to a new challenge from

LEJ Designs,

this week you are to use METAL on your creation.

Here is my DT creation for your inspiration...

I actually cut up one of my Mtn Dew cans and used the SU Daisy die in the big shot

to make my metal wall hanging.  

I was going for a Mod bathroom look, what do you think?

A simple quiet bath is all I ask for some days and with three girls and three dogs in the house

I am hardly ever granted that wish!

However, now after making this card a Mtn Dew and a bubbly bath are both calling my name.

I digitally colored the stamp in photoshop and printed off two copies.

The second copy I cut pieces off and layered them with dimensional foam.

Stickles on the leaves gave it another added layer, and the snowy background

is from an Christin Thomas kit,

It is week 2 for Gratitude Challenge
