For those that are new to the world of digital stamps I have a quick refresher for you.

How to use digi stamps with PSE10.
Open your donwnload stamp file.
This file comes as a jpg from Eureka Stamps that means it has a white background you will need to remove this background for my technique.
Click on the background eraser tool as shown below.
Click onto the white background you will see it be removed and the transparent layer appear.

I wanted to do something special with this image so I added a preloaded effect.
Color Target was my choice.
In your effects panel pick the Color Target Effect under the complex label and apply it to your digital stamp.
Now save your colored digital stamp as a png file to preserve the transparent background.

Below is my saved digital stamp in png form...

Below you can see that I have opened my save PNG digital stamp in my
Silhouette Cameo designer software.
Now I am ready to print and cut my bookmarks...

Here are two completed hybrid bookmarks.
The 3d star from Lori Whitlock is one of my fave cuts on the Silhouette;)

The Haunting Season Haunted House

Yesterday I released a new kit called
The Haunting Season.
(Please click the link above to be taken to the kit preview page.)
In this kit I created 5 cards in the style of PL.
In other words 3" by 4".

There are so many of these PL card creations on the net and I am
positive if you are like myself you own your fair share.
I came up with a different use for this style of card using them for layered Card Fronts.
So not only can you use them in your Project Life layouts (aka PL) they make
wonderful card creations.

My creation today showcases the haunted house 3" by 4" card...

Here is the preview of the PL style cards...

You can purchase this card set from the link below...
Other product used:  Papertrey ink ribbon, bling and cardstock, foam glitter stars and printer.

Monster Girls Thank You!

I have been trying to catch up on Thank You cards for the past few weeks.
This week J and I worked hard on her notes.
She wanted Monster  High however, I had this Monster Girls digital SB kit and went went with that.
I designed the card front, cut out the girl on the silhouette and some ribbon.  J constructed them all on her own.
Great teamwork don't you think;)

Good thing we have most of them done as we leave for the Mayo Clinic in
Rochester MN in the morning.
They are ranked #1 in the US for the help J needs.
I am hopeful that we are going to the right place that can help her for the long term not just
patch her up and send her home to get sick again.

Anywho, here is our creation...

Here is the kit preview...

Thank You

I know the rules for thank you cards and unfortunately I have just about broken them all when it comes to Donna's Graduation.  She was home last week and I had her sit down and write thank you notes on trimmed white Cardstock.  As I created the cards I attached her notes to the inside.

This thank you bear is from MelJen's designs.  Love these digital images!

My paper is OLD SU, I refuse to purchase anything new until I use up some of my hoarded stash.  Geesh!  Hope DH does not read this post it may give him heart failure.

Thank's for stopping by today;)

Tweet Friend

A brand new kit
Tweet Friend
can now be found in my ShopLocket store.
(This is also the kit I have used for my blog redesign)

What is so fun about this kit is you receive a printable card front.
I made my creation a hybrid card by cutting some of the digital elements on the Silhouette Cameo and placing a few pearls.
If you are looking for cards that are beautiful and will not cost extra postage just print the card front and adhere to your scored card base.
This base uses Spring Rain from PTI.
Here are the previews for the digital papers they are all 12 by 12 inch 300 dpi printable quality.
Great for both scrapbooking and cardmaking.

Be GOOD!

I so love this new bestie from Sherri Baldy.  It even put me in the mood to create some Christmas cards.  They turned out so much better than I had hoped.  LOVE THEM!

I put a Sepia filter over the colored image so she would match up with my
Graphic 45 papers I wanted to use from my stash.
(digi stamp digitally colored in PSE10)
