Possible Bulk buy...

I am putting feelers out to see if anyone would be interested in a bulk buy of CD tins. I have found these tins to be very illusive in the US and so far have only found dealers in Canada (cheapest price) or UK. I would place an order but to import increases the cost so it is better to purchase in bulk. Here is a photo of what I have found...

Here are some ideas of what can be done with them...

This tin uses a Jr. legal pad and more info for this idea can be found here
SCS Gallery
And more info can be found in elainescreations blog
"Photo is not mine and was copied from SCS"

You can find the info that goes with this at SCS
and be sure to check out stampinlauri blog here.
She wrapped Hershey Miniatures in SU DP for this project.

If anyone has another supplier for these tins please let me know I am so interested in trying some of these ideas.
Thank you so much,
Sara

True Friend Cider...

It is so much fun playing when everything is matching and you don't have to spend time getting organized, it made this card come together so fast. I used the True Friend stamp set along with the Apple Cider paper, wassabi card stock, ticket corner punch, brads and ribbon. The black ink is Black Staz-on stamped right on to the DP.

Had a Dr. appt. yesterday I just can't take anymore back and hip pain. She did a test yesterday for arthritis it will take a couple days for the results and she is not surprised with my back history that my hips are now involved. Yippie more problems! This news has put me on pins and needles, my Mother had severe RA but the Dr. assured me that condition was not genetic. I just can't see myself living the same life my Mother endured she was such a strong lady and I am cirtainly not. I will keep you posted with the results.
Have a great weekend.

Pumpkin treat bag...

This is another Halloween style of Coffee treat bag I have come up with. It also used the Paper Trey set "Spooky Sweets", can't get enough sweets!
Colors used here were Glorious Green and Only Orange along with Black Staz-on, I also put on a clip and some GG ribbon.

The Cat is out of the bag...

Today started out on the right side of the bed this time, we made it through the school rush with out any major bickering this A.M. and for that I am very thankful! I worked on cleaning up my desk yesterday and pictures on the camera so I put this page of Tammy together...

Now for a card this was the Tech challenge on SCS Monday, GEL CARDS

This is my sample and the very first one I have ever made, note to self, purchase clear hair gel and try it again. I used paper from Archivers, it is textured, and my Memory Box Penguin and sentiment stamps. The snowflake stamp is not named it was from Spazzgirl in a blog candy win, I use this stamp a bunch. It is under the gel window stamped in Real Red and also used in white for the background. The penguin in colored with a real red marker and then I put some stickles on his hat and coat. This was some paper I punched while on Youth Trip to MN this past July I was going to use it for glitter windows but this card style is way fun also and would make wonderful kid cards, I need to find some items to put in the gel they can move around.

Pink flowers...

I am having such a great time with this new set, this is one of the first cards I have made with it. The colors I used were Rose Red, Wassabi and Regal rose. I used a large oval in Regal Rose and stamped the sentiment on it in Rose red. Then I took my slot punch and punched on both sides of the oval and ran some organdy ribbon through the slots. I punched the large flower in Rose Red and the small flower in Regal Rose cut them out punched through the center and put on a brad then placed the flower on the card.
This was a quick card to make and I love the color combo. I think I saw a similar card on SCS but I would not call it a CASE of Badsherry but I used her card to inspire mine.
Have a great day!

Genie Bag...

Front View...

Side View...

I have so many items just laying around that I have purchased in bulk when I was on the craft fair circuit it is ridiculous. Well I saw this week on SCS the Genie Bag and I went WOW, after all I have hundreds even thousands who knows what I have left of these white bags taking up storage room in my totes. So I printed off the directions, had to change the measurements some to fit my size of bag and off I went to my craft space to see what I could do. Very easy, did not take much time however, I wanted to just use the DP I had gotten in WRAK group this week and did no stamping for this project,I would like to make these and leave them open to what ever occasion comes up that I may need one for. Then I just made two punches with the word window punch (thanks Julie) and tied on some ribbon from Michaels and I was done in less than 10 minutes. I did leave the back just black, I am after all hoarding my great papers I got from WRAK, can't use them all up at once but you could do the back the same as the front or leave blank as I did.
So how cute are they and a nice size for gift giving, so wonderful when a plan comes together, LOL!

When we hold a candle...

I must say first off that this week has been rough for me because of SCS and the WRAK forum. Let me take time here to explain to some of you who are not so familiar with these acronyms. Split Coast Stampers (SCS) is my fave site to check out on the net they have tons of ideas in the gallery and lots of information and tutorials they also have forums for members (specialized groups) for those who wish to be more involved with the site. I am a WRAK member (Wish Rak) Random Acts of Kindness and I spend most of my free time while DD is napping getting mail ready to go out to other members. This means some other member makes a wish in the forum and if I have what is on the wish list I will fulfill the wish and get it out in the mail to them. Remember this is a Random Act of Kindness, send what you can make others wishes come true. This group has been great for me up to this point as a SHAM of three kids I don't have a huge stamping budget like some of you gals have so it is nice to wish for things so I get a chance to play with some stamp sets that I like that I know I will never be able to purchase. Well this week the forum was shut down because some members were not happy with the way counting wishes was going. (You would grant a wish and this gives you a wish to make etc..) Some people felt others were giving out too many wishes to some people. Well it is back up and running and people are still angry and I just can't comprehend why. I have granted about 100 wishes and used 58 of those wishes asking for images in return. About half and I don't think I will ever use all of the wishes I have earned. To me the forum is to give what you can to make others happy and that is it - I don't expect anything else - and boy are their some that do I guess and they are making it hard for others. So this week I pulled out my fave sentiment stamp and I am going to share it with you now...

When we hold a candle to light another's path, we also brighten our own. (Simple, and I love it and now I am going to use it alot to help spread the word of how we should act toward one another.)

So the cards you see are for the WRAK members I grant wishes to I used Baroque Motifs and the colors are Wassabi, Regal Rose and Rose Red. The center flower has been cut out and a crystal placed in the center. When they open the card they see the sentiment listed above and then on the back (second photo) they will find all of the wish info. These are 3 by 3 cards.

I am having issues with Blogger this AM but I will be back later with a card for today.
This is the best part of my day...the house is still yet a tad on the cool side. Everyone is asleep except DH who has left for work (even the kitty is sleeping - shhhh). I have plenty of ideas working around in my mind and today is going to be a great stamp day!
Enjoy the morning and I will be back to edit the post when Blogger decides it wants to upload.

Here I am...

This is another Birthday card I worked on this week for a friend. The really rust paper was stamped with versamark ink and the saying is stamped in Balck Staz-on.

I know the background in the previous post was a giveaway to my photo but I tried in BW and it did not change much. But alas here I am in the first photos and my DD is the second two. Our facial expressions are the same in the two photos that are next to each other, this just amazes me another thing she also runs around sucking her pinky finger.

A special gift and a Guess Who?...

This is a Birthday card for my Brother who just happens to be celebrating on Saturday I used the new Stem Silhouettes set along with the Apple Cider paper and some wassabi ribbon. I was torn about putting ribbon on a manly card, what do you think? I do like the finished look but just not sure about the ribbon.
For the frame I modge podged some Apple Cider paper to a Target Dollar Spot frame and then put some ribbon on with red line tape. (I was so lucky with the frames while in Target last week they had some dollar spot items 75% off so the frames were $.25 each, needless to say I grabbed what they had.) This is one of the few photos that exist with all five of us kids in it, a very special photo. The birthday boy is holding me in this picture that makes it even more special.

This is a fun photo shot, I remembered when I saw my DD in a hair thingy and a red shirt that there is a photo of me about the same age doing about the same thing so here are the photos can you guess who I am?

True Friend...

This is one of the first cards I have made using my new stamp set and wheel. I must say I am liking this Wassabi color and I have been using it a bunch.
For this card I wheeled on the Wassabi ink on both sides of the card and one time on a length of white card stock. Then I stamped the flower on a piece of white put on a brad and mounted it to some more wassabi card stock. A fast card and I love it!
Just got back from the Dr. with my DD, no surgery needed at this time she will have to continue to wear the immobilizing brace, her favorite friend for six more weeks.
Have a great day!

2-5-7-10 boxes...

On Splitcoast Mondays is the Technique lovers challenge, yesterday the challenge was to make this box, here is a link to the directions. 2-5-7-10 box
For my first box I used my new Apple Cider paper and True Friend stamp set to make it. (I need to shout from the mountain top so SU will hear me I LOVE HOW THIS STAMP SET WAS DIE CUT AND NO ADDITIONAL CUTTING WAS NEEDED IN THE MOUNTING PROCESS, LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT please make the sets available like this going forward.) The card stock was wild wassabi also the ribbon. I had such a great time with this box I had to make another...

This box was made using the Flaky Friends set, a seasonal fave of mine along with the snowman wheel, some white GG ribbon and some silver cord. The color of card stock used is Brilliant Blue and a non SU blue (boarding blue would be a close match). I made the box then rolled it with the snowman wheel in Versacolor White.

Have a great day and give this box a try, it is easy and fun to do.

Rejoice....

Wow, I have worked all week trying to get this card just so, it is my first commissioned card for a great lady at Church who is going to her Granddaughter's Wedding in Florida at the end of this week. She told me the colors were pink and silver and she wanted something really special, so this is what I came up with.
To make this card you need to see the Chris Cross Tutorial over at SCS.
My main criss cross card was made from Silver paper from Creative Memories and I ran just one panel through the cuttlebug embossing folder divine swirls. Next I cut my triangles from Regal Rose Card stock and stamped them with the doodle from Doodle this stamp set in Versamark ink. Then I made a belt from some leftover silver paper some ribbon and cord, on the back I covered the belt with the double wedding bell sticker. When the versamark had dried I went back over it with stickles to make the card more special and jazzy and I also added a floral sticker to the bottom corner. For the pocket part of the card I layered up the card stock added a round tab punch a dove sticker and then stamped the card using the same stamp inked up with Regal Rose I masked off the right side so I had room to stamp the sentiment ..This is the day the Lord has made...I thought this would be great for a special wedding card. When the ink dried I put more stickles on the card. I am going to leave the back til she can see it this am and then we can figure out what type of personal greeting she wants on the back and then I will print it out and attach it to the back. This card is so grand IRL I am really happy with it.

Bright Fluffles...

I just love coloring my new fluffle stamps. This card was made using some pretty bright colors but they matched the ribbon so perfectly. I picked the ribbon up at Wal-Mart a while back it was in the clearance bin, my lucky day! SU colors matched perfectly, So Saffron, Pixie Pink and Only Orange.
I ran the Orange Card Stock through the Cuttle Bug Embossing folder and used the ticket corner punch.
The flowers were colored using the ink pads and a blender pen and they also have some stickles in the center.
This card is making its way as I type to Canada in a special WRAK package caring some goodies to a certain Disney Freak (WINK, WINK).
I just have to color my Kitty's orange in honor of our newest family member, Tammy the Cat. She is just a few months old and is so loving, and she also likes my crafting toys and my DD's toys etc...
We are getting ready to pour our patio this evening, it is great having a hubby who works with concrete. I will get some photos for you and post them over the weekend, not sure how much time I will have to stamp he has me making a Southern Feast for all his helpers, fried chicken, sweet potatoes, turnip greens, black eyed peas and corn bread. Anyone hungry?
Have a wonderful weekend.

Simply Said Re-Do...

So I just was not happy enough to leave the card from yesterday as is so I set out this A.M. to make some changes. First I took the two panel system down to one and I still used the tag corner punch I also went a little lighter on the inking of the edges. The additions I made were some GG ribbon, word window punches, rhinestones and some stitched doodling. (The color still is off in the photo but it is a match IRL.)
So as the Eye Dr. says...One or Two? (One would be yesterdays post and Two is the card today.)
Have a good one.

I can see clearly...

I can see clearly now, I have the correct glasses back on. It has been over a week since my DD broke my glasses and I got mine back today, YES! The feeling you get when you put on a new pair of glasses is so funny.
This is another card I played around with using some comments on favorite colors. This was Pretty in Pink and Chocolate chip, the color is way off in my photo around the edges where I sponged, IRL it matches perfectly. I used the Tag corner punch from SU, the only place I should not have used it is on the sentiment, this rectangle was to small and it looks funny to me, POINTY.
Maybe this is why I am seeing faults with this card now.

Quick Sympathy card...

This is a fast five minute card, I have been working with sympathy cards lately as a special request for a lady at Church. This card uses the Divine Swirl Cuttle Bug embossing folder, some black GG ribbon a simple sentiment from SU and some card stock. The colors used are very vanilla, night of navy and basic black. I also rounded the corners and used the ticket corner punch on the sentiment to get some more detail on the card.
Wow, I have been cleaning my stamping space today, I was so very unorganized on Saturday at the Craft Fair that I just had to take time to get my stuff in order. I have been cataloging and photographing all of my stamp sets and craft supplies, what a job (when things are packed in carts and totes you don't realize all that you have).
Thank you for checking in today have a great one!

"Coffee" Treat Bags Spooky style...

I love these coffee bags have been using them for awhile now I actually bought a bulk buy and I have some if you are interested please leave a comment with your email or you can email me at paschal.sara@gmail.com.
10 per pack for $5.00
or
5 per pack "decorated as shown" for $3.00
Plus shipping-to be determined with your order.
I used black staz-on for the spiders on the bag because the bag has a glossy finish. This circles are punched out and I cut out the spider circles and placed them on with double stick tape. "Spooky Sweets' is the stamp set used once again. Just a few days out from the new stamps sets over at Paper Trey, on the 15th of every month new sets are revealed this time she has let us know that the four new sets will be holiday- can't wait!

First of all I want to thank those who used the Poll on the right side of my page, I was asking that question because I am doing a craft fair Saturday and was not sure how to go about with the nuggets. My concerns were... too much chocolate in the house, it would never make it to the fair, next was that Halloween is actually still well over 6 weeks out and was not sure how product would hold up. So I have taken the advise from the poll and from friends to go about it this way. I have packets ready to go all the buyer has to do is supply they candy, wrap the label around the candy and staple the cover of card stock.
So wish me luck it has been over five years since my last show but I am ready to go now especially after how well the sale went at Church for the Jr. High trip. (I have even been asked for more cards so that is nice.)
So I used Only Orange and black staz-on, the small bags are from Hobby Lobby and you can fit one nugget in the way I have it or two in if you turn them the other direction. You know by now that the stamp set is by Paper Trey and it is called Spooky Sweets, gotta get one it is wonderful!
No post on Saturday, I need to get up early early to be in Centerville by 7:30 A.M.
Have a great day!

Got Pumpkins?

Here is another card using the Paper Trey set "Spooky Sweets", this one is a case from TruCarMa. The colors used again are Only Orange, Brilliant Blue and Green Galore plus black and this card used Sketch Challenge 138. I kept this card on the simple side the case card has much more detail to it, I wanted the color to be the main focus on my card.
Have a great day!

Spooky...

As promised here is something I made with my new Paper Trey set. These cards are the same yet different (different bling on each card). They are headed to Centerville SD this weekend for a craft fair. I used Sketch Challenge 110 for the layout on this card and the colors are black, white, only orange, lavender lace, green galore and brilliant blue. For ink I used White and Black staz-on plus only orange and green galore.
I love this set and I am having fun playing with it. Have a great day!

Not such good news to report...

Just returned from the specialist with my DD who re injured herself over the holiday weekend. She is back to wearing the immobilizing brace until she see the surgeon on Sept. 21st.
Thank you all for your kindness shown towards her and please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She was so looking forward to Marching Band, now she can't compete but he will allow her to walk along, wearing her brace of course.

Hi Ho Silver....

This is the final card I received in the Cuttle Bug Cricut swap isn't it adorable. The problem is it did not come signed or with info so I do not know where to send Props, I have talked about this in a previous post.
For the other swap cards from the weekend I will now share some more info for you...

THSmom made the "make a wish Bella Card using a Stamping Bella image and the divine swirl embossing folder.
Joannhw made the vase card also using a cuttlebug embossing folder, not sure of the proper name but it is a script.
ScrappinGalz Made the flower pot card by using the Cricut Cartridge "Walk in my garden". I just adore this card.
The Chocolate Chip Thank You card was done with a Cuttle bug Embossing folder again this card did not come signed.
So what do you think about swapping cards, I would love to hear your input.
Have a great day!

We took in the Lifelight concert last evening the kids got to enjoy the music of Tate and TobyMac, everyone that went had a wonderful time. We were even blessed enough to see a shooting star, how cool is that. (Yes, I made my wish!).
Thanks for checking in.

Hook, Line and Sinker....

No I am not talking about going fishing this holiday weekend, I am saying how much I adore the new Spooky Sweet Set from Paper Trey. So much fun this is a Hershey Nugget but I have more to show in the coming days.
The bottom photo is of our tree in the back yard. Every year we get a visit from the migrating Monarch Butterfly's. Toward the upper right you can see one cluster, the tree is full of clusters but hard to see them if they are not flapping their wings. The best photo is when they are in flight but my camera just is not capable of the task. My littlest DD just loves to see them her entire face lights up and she runs around and squeals in delight saying POPEYE for butterfly.
Thanks for checking in have a great day.
