I seriously need to take my own advice today... UGH!! After a few days of phone and Internet problems I know Knology has no Knowledge!! Wonder if we will get some type of rebate for interrupted service, this is very frustrating. It is bad enough we live in the middle of nowhere so we don't have a choice on service providers and this lack of choice really stinks. I have some projects to share but I am having problems uploading photos so I am going to have a great weekend, not think of computer connection problems or the Internet and save my new projects for next week.
Hopefully Monday will bring us back on track, hopefully. If anyone is trying to contact us good luck, our phone has been iffy at best also.
Remember to link up for the Perfect Match Prize drawing on Monday. Also play along with this weeks color challenge and link in for another chance to win a PTI RAK.
Happy Stamp Day!

PTI Feb Blog Hop Put 'Spring' into your step

From PaperTrey Ink...
"February Blog Hop
Easter and other spring celebrations will be here before you know it! And besides, there's nothing better to beat the winter doldrums than to turn our minds towards those first spring flowers bursting through the ground and the birds returning with their sweet songs.
Your challenge this month is to put a little "spring" into your step, by incorporating the flowers, familiar sights and colors of spring into a
project. Think birds nests containing newly laid eggs, flowers in pretty pastels, new green leaves, baby chicks and anything else that speaks to your creative soul! We look forward to seeing all of your interpretations of this fun challenge!"

My apologies for this bad scan, my camera is shot and this is the best pic I can get for now...For this project I did start out making a card for SCS SC216 (shown below) and it just snowballed from there. I ended up altering an old photo frame that was in the basement last spring when it flooded and needed some love. I sanded, painted and sanded again. Put on the front cover of Bella Rose DP and lots of Modge Podge my friend. NOT!! I even finished the back of the frame off like a true framer with a piece of Pure poppy. Next I made my siggy back and it is ready for any gallery, okay my gallery wall in the living room.

D's Brag Book

I have been hopelessly cleaning up my stamp area getting it more organized and under
controll. I had started a system of putting my FAVE sketch challenges on SCS into a bragbook so I can find samples easy. Well first off not many would fit, next it just was not the perfect system. I cleaned it out and dolled it up for D, now she has a brag book that matches her Plum Pudding Bedroom.

SCA3C13 Perfect Match Monday Spring Fling
This is a great color combo for this week and could easily be used in conjunction with the PTI blog hop on Feb 25th.

I know, I know I am getting so very tired of this very poor scans myself. Just a few more days 'til I replace my broken camera then my blog photos will be back on track. This card is actually layered on a base of Sweet Blush then Lavender Moon next there is a piece of Everyday Blessings DP in Spring Moss. The flowers are two layers a card stock layer and a chipboard layer, gives it a ton of dimension IRL.

Not So Easy, easy card
I wanted to make a single layer rockin' card yesterday, this was as close as I could get....

I don't know why something that you think should be easy is totally killer. I went through about 6 cards fronts, back and insides trying to get it to work out the way I had visioned it. I plan on giving it another go, I did want just a single layer and no embellishments. (Had to put the ribbon on, there was just a ton of card left and it needed some ribbon love.)
